We are a manufacturer a full line of self-locking, press fit fasteners, grooved pins, spring pins, studs, keys and dowels. Whatever we call our major products, grooved pins, knurled pins, or drive studs, they fall in the general category of press fit fasteners. The grooving process, applied to cylindrical pins or the cylindrical shanks of headed pins, involves precisely displacing a predetermined amount of material. This displaced material creates interference between the pin and the drilled hole which locks the pin in place. Our ability to meet difficult machining challenges is demonstrated by our success in producing bearing rollers for rock drill bits, as well as various stainless steels, alloy and semi-hardened pins. Spring pins have been manufactured with equipment of our own design and construction since the early sixties. Our design combines the press controlled payout and roll former in one compact unit.
