The founder of the company is an artist who trained to be a teacher, artist and potter, studying at several universities in the Northwest. She taught school for almost ten years, specializing in art education as well as working at art curriculum development. While raising her family, she directed her training to creating a popular line of pottery. Each piece is unique and goes through many steps in production. Lusters containing precious metals, platinum, and 24-karat gold are fired and painted over stains of colour to produce sparkling effects. Each piece is watertight, food safe, durable and light-weight.
