Founded in 1973, we are a not-for-profit organization with the mission to honor the courageous life and work of poet Edna St. Vincent Millay by offering comprehensive residencies to visual artists, writers and composers. Now in our 33rd season of work, we have already offered residencies to more than 1,500 artists from around the country and around the world. Our annual events include Art At Steepletop, Savage Beauty Salons and readings in Great Barrington and Hudson.
