General purpose RS232 serial port relay output, opto input controller board for use in a variety of control and sensing applications including load switching, external switch input sensing, contact closure and external voltage sensing.

Eight relay outputs (can be increased to 16 if you use two 3108 units and our upgrade kit Order Code 3108U). Each relay is capable of switching 5 amps, 250V max (see Relay Data Sheet).

Four 5-24Vdc opto-isolated digital inputs.
Housed in a high quality plastic enclosure with detachable screw terminal block connectors for all IO connections.

Can be controlled using simple ASCII text based serial protocol or our free Windows 3.1/95/98/ME/W2K/XP software (details below).
