Our story began in a small works in 1918 on the north bank of the River Clyde in Glasgow. When the British Ryder Cup team teed off against the United States at Ganton, in Yorkshire, in 1949, no fewer than eight out of ten team members were playing with our clubs. No club manufacturer - before or since - has achieved anything like that dominance in any part of the game. Scottish craftsmanship achieved a target that multinationals will never come close to reaching. The company is reknowned for its innovative approach and regularly introduces revolutionary products to the market. Eight years ago the company was the first to introduce an iron with a weight port behind the hitting area.
