Inspired by her childhood in the West Country, the artists work is reminiscent of the underlying geology and powerful forces of the sea, typical of that region. Through a constant process of experimentation and refinement, she has brought a new dimension to sand casting. Her technique involves capturing colours and oxides within the glass and shaping the piece whilst hot.
