The product is a bath alarm designed to alert the user when the bath is full and to encourage the user to fill the bath with less water than usual, thus encouraging water savings. Setting the product at a lower level in the bath and avoiding unnecessary waste through overfilling or flooding the bath will save water. Tests show that if all baths are filled to a level of only 5cm (or 2 inches) lower than normal; savings of 40 billion litres of water a year in the UK alone can be achieved.
