Chemical manufacture came to our site in 1976. Before this time the site had had a number of uses including carpet manufacture. Current staffing level is around 70 with the emphasis on manufacturing personnel. (Regulatory) compliance needs are not neglected). Peak demands can be catered for with temporary labour. This is used only in the packaging department. Current turnover is around £10M. As most of the work is contract raw materials costs do not make a significant contribution to this figure.
