I make beautiful and unique handcrafted furniture to commission. My work draws on the simplicity and fitness for purpose of the Shaker and early Arts and Crafts traditions - but I do not make reproductions. I aim to create things which pay homage to the past while still being at home in the modern world. Unusually I work largely by hand and by eye, making little use of machinery.
