Founded in 1975 and a public company since 1986, with its shares listed on the AIM market, the business operates from 6 strategically located sites and provides in excess of 65,000 racked pallet spaces, of which 50,000 are temperature controlled.

The Bury St Edmunds site was acquired in 1988, which was followed a year later with a site in West Midlands. Further sites were added in 1995/6 at Wrexham and Braintree (Essex) with the last sites acquired in 2000 at Port Lympne (near Folkestone, Kent) and the ambient site in York.
