Our company was first established in 1938 as a small family business selling eggs. After 30 years the company was acquired by Dalgety as part of their portfolio and an outlet for their products. Since then Dalgety carried out a series of expansion programmes which lead to the aquisition of two UK egg processing companies in 1997 and the formation of our group.

The acquisitions of Daylay Foods in 2000, and Countryside Free Range Eggs Ltd in 2002 reinforced our position as one of the leading suppliers in the UK, with involvement in egg marketing, feed milling, egg products and processing with a free range production of over 10 million eggs per week.
