As a child, our founder loved the home-made hibiscus drink he was given, as did his mother and hers before that. With a recipe passed from generation to generation, he continued the family tradition by producing and selling the drink in his restaurant in the south of France. In 2002 he decided to move to the UK to try to develop the recipe into a viable commercial product. After the usual – and at times frustrating! – process of setting up a business, finding suppliers and manufacturers and persuading investors to back the project, our drink at last became available on the market in early 2004.
