We make greeting cards using hazel wood, which grows naturally on our four acre smallholding, deep in the heart of Devons beautiful countryside. It was in the Autumn of 1996, when we first conceived the idea and designed a series of greeting cards, which were sold at local craft fairs. By the late Spring of 1997, we had started selling these cards through a few local retail outlets. Now nine years later, we have over 70 designs, and have sold over 150000 unique cards to over 800 shops around the world. We have made a licensing agreement with an Australian company to manufacture the cards themselves and these were successfully launched in early 2003. We now have many card ranges, including gift-wrap, gift bags, notebooks, ties and handkerchiefs featuring our designs, and most recently, T-shirts.
