Over the years automated processing systems were introduced to meet the huge and growing demand for potato chips. New hybrids of chipping potatoes were developed to provide a pale, uniform colour and artificial flavours were applied to add taste. The old fashioned hand cooked quality was lost. Over a century later, we have recreated the art of hand cooking, all natural gourmet potato chips.
