Norman Burden who recognised a worldwide market for used tractors founded the group in 1972.The founding philosophy was to provide quality machinery supported by a quality service. The Groups activities have now expanded to include an extensive agricultural dealership, a specialist importation business and dedicated groundcare and hire divisions. In 1978, the decision was made to enter the retail farm machinery business, and the International Harvester franchise along with several other major franchises were acquired in that year.
