The company was formed in 1990, to take images from The Robert Opie Collection (a well-known collection of British advertising, packaging and other memorablia ) and reproduce them - with the permission of the relevant brand-owners - on a series of paper and metal gifts, for sale to retailers in the UK, and throughout the world.

Starting from a modest base of products which included postcards and posters, the company has expanded its offer over the years to include the wide range that is listed here. Customers include gift and card shops,mail-order companies, museums, and other attractions, particularly those in tourist areas.
The most significant overseas markets are in Australasia, Canada, USA, Japan, and throughout Europe, particularly in Spain, France, Germany, Holland, Sweden and Italy.

The company has one or two sales agents in the UK, but mainly uses exhibitions and a telesales team using database marketing. Overseas, it deals through distributors.

The Robert Opie Collection was on show to the public in The Museum of Advertising & Packaging in Gloucester from 1984 until it awas forced to close ( by the owners of the buiding in which it was housed ), in October, 2001. Since then, Robert Opie has had a part of his Collection on show in Opie's Museum of Memories at Wigan Pier. He is actively looking for a site in London in which to show this nationally important Collection
