The company was founded by former PGA Club Professional and PGA Tour Player Frank Mims in 1988. Originally the company serviced country club golf shops, resort shops and select corporate accounts throughout the southeast with quality brand name apparel and accessory lines. In 1998 the decision was made to focus mainly on the corporate world. Although the company still specializes in golf apparel and accessories, PGS has expanded its products and services to include a full line of promotional items, gifts and awards.
