We were founded in 1945 by Barry and Pamela Funnell, originally refurbished and sold second-hand furniture - from a garage in a small Brighton mews. From these small beginnings, the company grew rapidly and began making new English reproduction furniture. Larger premises soon became necessary and, as the company went from strength to strength, we eventually moved to Newhaven, which is the head office and a main centre for manufacture.
