Top of page What are buyer Trade Leads?
Trade Leads are requests to buy stock. If for example you are sourcing 1,000 towels, you can post a request for towels on eSources. Relevant suppliers will then receive a notification of your request and will reply with a quote.
As a registered buyer, you can post your buy requests in the trade leads directory by selecting the New Lead link in your My eSources Account area. As you receive quotes from multiple suppliers you can compare offers and choose the one most suitable to your needs. Additionally, you can post partnership requests to ask other members to share the expenses of a large purchase, thus benefiting from lower prices from suppliers.
Please note only premium buyers requests are forwarded to both premium and basic suppliers. If you have a basic buyer account your request will be forwarded to premium suppliers only.Top of page How do I post a lead?
To post a buy or partnership lead, first register free. Then go to your My eSources and click on the Post New Lead link in the left menu.
Top of page What are the general guidelines for posting leads?
As a registered buyer you can only post buy and partnership leads. All leads are reviewed individually. The general guidelines for posting buyer leads are:
- Be as detailed as possible when describing your requirements. This will increase the number of quotes you receive from suppliers;
- List your lead in an appropriate category;
- Do not include any of your contact details in the lead description. The contact details you have specified at registration will be shown automatically in a different section of your lead page. To edit your contact details click here;
- Please do not try to post sell leads from a buyer account. This may result in your account being suspended;
Top of page How do I edit and manage my leads?
To edit, deactivate or delete your leads visit the Manage Leads section in your My eSources. You can edit leads which have either been approved or declined. Pending leads cannot be edited until they have been reviewed by us.

As a registered buyer you can reply to sell and partnership leads.
Top of page How can I post sell leads?
To post a sell lead you must be registered as a premium supplier. If you are a trade supplier, you can first upgrade your buyer membership to supplier membership. Once you have completed the upgrade to supplier membership, you can then further upgrade to premium membership and start posting sell leads.
