Established July 4th, 1905 as a butter export cooperative for Finnish dairies. We are the biggest food business corporation and milk processor in Finland. Our number of member dairies increased rapidly to 172 by 1912, up to 232 only two years later, and nearly 300 by 1917. Our port has the longest ice free period in Finland and is the center of much export activity at any time. Our company works extensively with the retail trade to develop supply chain management and enhance distribution.
