Started pre-war as a small bakery, our purpose was primarily to supply local dance halls with bakery products. A new owner entered the picture in 1950 and proceeded to then transform the business into what it is today. The new owner successfully set about turning the run-down bakery and shop into a profit-making concern. We have been long been synonymous with taste and quality around our home base of Bolton and the surrounding Lancashire towns. Over the years, however, our fame has spread much further afield and now we distribute to the North West of England and to multiple sites in cities such as Manchester, Preston and Warrington. The bakery itself, already one of the most sophisticated in the craft oriented sector, is upgraded on an ongoing basis. Whilst the principles of traditional baking practices are never compromised, new equipment to increase efficiency is enthusiastically introduced. All capital machinery is critically examined and, where necessary, tailored to meet our exacting criteria.
