Our small, flexible and lightweight equipment has rapidly and steadily allowed us to become the market leader that we are today. Many studies have proven that the frequent lifting of lighter goods can be harmful and this is where we come into the picture. An interpretation of the EC Manual Handling Directive (90/269/EEC) and its associated frameworks suggest a maximum weight of 25 kg/55 lbs at waist height close to the body (much less in other lifting situations). Is this a limit exceeded almost every day by people performing work involving manual handling?
